This year, the series continues with the release of a postage block with works by the equally mysterious French artist James Colomina, who, “to condemn the injustice of this war and demonstrate unwavering support for the Ukrainian people,” created five red sculptures in Kyiv in 2024 for Independence Day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe postage stamps feature the author's works located on Independence Square: “Messenger” - on the facade of the main post office building; ‘Dove’ - on the lantern near the memorial to the Heroes who died for Ukraine; ‘Girl on a swing’ on the Alley of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe postal envelope reproduces Kolomina's drawing that he left in Taras Shevchenko Park. The art object, which intertwines weapons and children's play, emphasizes the absurdity and cruelty of wars that destroy the childhood of millions of children.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe proposed postal set includes: a block “ART vs WAR.
