🏛️ Vinnytsia Water Tower - a symbol of the city

History:

The tower was built in 1911 by architect Hryhorii Artynov. The tower served as both a water supply facility and a fire station.

Usage in time:

Until 1920, the tower supplied water to the city. During the Second World War, it was used as an observation post. After the war, it housed water utility workers.

Present day:

In the 1980s, the tower was restored and included in the Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local Lore. Today it is a favorite tourist attraction and an important part of the city's cultural life.
