Series "Ukrainian embroidery - the code of the nation"

The series of postage stamps “Ukrainian Embroidery – Code of the Nation,” launched in 2018, continues with the release of postage stamps depicting embroidery from the Odesa and Sumy regions.
Sumy region is represented by a women's shirt made of homespun fabric (early 20th century, Dobrotove village, Krolevets district), with two wide stripes of diamonds and cut diamonds and garlands of small flowers embroidered on the sleeves. At the bottom of the shirt is a wide strip of windows, crosses, and swirls. Exhibit of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine.
