Postcard “Constitution Square, Kharkiv”

Maidan Konstytutsii took on its current appearance in 2012, when it was transformed from a gray square burdened with Soviet atavisms into a cozy space. The main decoration is the monument “Flying Ukraine” with the ancient Greek goddess Nike. Nearby is the M.F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum, and a little further away is the historic City Duma Building (1885), where the city council still works today.
