In Ukraine, children are used to receiving postcards and gifts from bunnies, squirrels :) The legend was this: mom or dad walking down the street, and towards the hare with a message for the baby. Usually the messages contained not only postcards, but also instructions! :) About how to be polite with your grandmother, for example :)
The postcard with the forest post office shows how it was supposed to happen :)
