Unique Ukrainian tradition are carols. All three days of celebration are accompanied by the singing of carols. Caroling during feasts, when they go to visit each other. Also, children go caroling to neighbors and relatives, and receive money or sweets for their song.

In some regions they prepare for caroling in advance and make carol carving: an octagonal star, a goat mask, and the like. With these things and go caroling.
