Sheet "Trident. Honor" 2026

The postal issue is presented with the works of artist Oleksiy Kustovsky (Cousteau), who offers a new symbolic interpretation of the Ukrainian coat of arms. In the author's artistic interpretation, the Trident appears not only as a symbol of state power, but also as a sign of inner strength, determination and readiness for struggle.

On the stamp, the Trident is made in blue and yellow using pixel military camouflage. In the lower part of the coat of arms, the artist encrypted the gesture of military greeting - a hand pressed to the heart. This is how Ukrainian servicemen salute, greet their comrades, hold hands during the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, say goodbye to the fallen and accept state awards. It is this gesture that explains the name of the issue - "Trident. Honor". It combines the state symbol with the concepts of service, dignity and loyalty to Ukraine.

The coupon of the sheet is complemented by lines from Ivan Kotlyarevsky's "Aeneid": "Where love for the homeland is heroic, There the power of the blow cannot withstand...". Written over two centuries ago, they still sound surprisingly modern today, combining Ukrainian cultural tradition with the struggle for freedom and independence.
