A moment that unites: the story of one card maximum

I have been working with Dima&Sasha Design for a long time — on unique postcards for every postal event in Ukraine, when a new, special one with a heartfelt message appears. And when the postcard for the “Infantry. Salt. Land” stamp came out, I, of course, ordered it. The image is powerful and symbolic: a woman and a man in military uniform shaking hands against the backdrop of a Ukrainian field. Such a postcard is not just aesthetics, it is about connection, about war, about dignity.

And recently, a beautiful young woman wrote to me. Her avatar was a photo with lilacs, which is probably a symbol of spring and blossoming. She was interested in this card... And suddenly she said:
“But I'm in the photo.”

At first, I didn't believe her. But then she sent me the original photo — the same one, without retouching, without the background. And indeed — it was her. Everything matched.

It was an unexpected and very poignant moment for me. Postcards are not only found by admirers — they return to the very heroes depicted on them. This is not just abstract art. These are real people, this is our life, this is our connection.

At that moment, I felt something deeper. It was as if we were not just a country where there is war in one city and silence in another. No. We are connected. We are one. We are a family. Those in the rear and those on the front lines, we are all woven into one big Ukrainian pattern.

I am very grateful to this wonderful woman. For her courage. For her strength. For her presence. For being part of our victory. Part of our unity.
