Ukrainian postage stamps are among the best in the world, as evidenced by numerous philatelic awards. The stamp sheet "Insects of Ukraine" (year 2018) by Oleksandr and Serhiy Kharukiv won three awards at once — Grand Prix WIPA (Austria), Nexofil Award (Spain) and Asiago (Italy), and postage stamps under the Europa program on the theme " National Birds" - "White Stork" and "Eastern Nightingale" (2019), performed by Natalia Kohal, won the first place in the competition "The best stamp of Europe - collector's choice 2019". In total, during the 29 years of independence, Ukrposhta put into circulation almost 2,000 sets of postage stamps.
Ukrainian resistance in all its manifestations was reflected in the subjects of wartime postage stamps. Philatelic art imprinted both the repulse of the enemy, and the thirst for victory, and pain, and indomitability, and the dream of every Ukrainian.
