Athletes killed by Russia

Athletes killed by Russia

Vladislav Heraskevich and his helmet of remembrance, which so frightened those who find it convenient to ignore the war being waged by Russia. And during the Olympics, it kills and destroys just the same.
It is impossible to be neutral during war.
Neutrality kills.
That is why it is so shameful to look at the helmet of remembrance. At those whom Russia has killed.

Here are those on the helmet:

19-year-old biathlete Yevgen Malyshev, a participant in the Youth Olympics, died in the battles for Kharkiv.
Figure skater Dmytro Sharpar died near Bakhmut.
Boxer Maksym Halinichev, European youth champion, refused to compete internationally in 2022 and volunteered for the airborne assault troops, continuing to fight even after being wounded.
Cyclist Andriy Kutsenko returned from Italy to join the army and fought his last battle as part of the 47th Brigade “Magura.”
Among the fallen are champions of Ukraine and international tournaments: strongmen Pavlo Ishchenko and Ivan Kononenko (killed in action), shooter Oleksiy Khabarov (killed in action), wrestler Andriy Yaremchenko, track and field athletes Roman Polishchuk, Volodymyr Androshchuk (killed in action), and Kateryna Troyan. The latter made over a thousand combat flights as a drone operator. She died in September this year while performing a combat mission in the Pokrovsk direction.
Oleksiy Loginov (hockey) — former goalkeeper for Bilyi Bars, died at the age of 23, volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Mykita Kozubenko (diving) — master of sports of Ukraine, coach, died while serving in the National Guard.
Taras Shpuk (coach of the Invictus Games team) — veteran, worked on the development of veteran sports, later joined military intelligence, died while performing a task.
Fedir Yepifanov (fencing) — champion and prize winner of national competitions, participant in international tournaments, defended Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion.
Daria Kurdel (ballroom dancing) — multiple winner of international competitions. She died on July 9, 2022, in Kryvyi Rih as a result of Russian shelling of the Ingulets microdistrict while training with her father.
Nazar Zuy (boxing, football) – born in Donetsk region, he was involved in boxing and football. On March 11, he died with his parents in Mariupol as a result of an air strike on a residential building.
There are also the names of very young athletes: 17-year-old kickboxer Karina Bakhur, 14-year-old weightlifter Alina Peregudova, 11-year-old gymnast Karina Dyachenko, 9-year-old judoka Viktoria Ivashko, and 15-year-old dancer Maria Lebid. Some of them died along with their families as a result of Moscow's shelling.
May their memory live on forever!
And Vladislav Heraskevich performed an act of honor and dignity, for which he deserves great respect.
