Collaboration with landscape artist Andrii Repeta

The collaboration between “Postcards for the Soul” and Andrii Repeta began very naturally — with the postcrossing community's attention to his paintings. At that time, I was not yet acquainted with him, but his works immediately stood out. They were landscapes — ordinary nature without fictional elements, without artificial dramatization. Perhaps the colors were a little more saturated in places, but overall, they depicted what we see around us every day. At the same time, they had a special mood and mystery. I wanted to look at them longer, so that something inside me would resonate, so that light would appear.

I contacted Mr. Andrii, and he was open and warm to the idea of collaboration — to the desire to show his work to a wider audience through postcards.
I really want postcrossers — people who appreciate art and mood — to see these paintings. I was genuinely impressed that almost every new work by the artist quickly finds its owner. The demand for his paintings is really high — and that's a rare thing. For me, this is a sign that the artist creates not only for himself but for people. There is a subtle point where what the author likes is sincerely liked by others.

Andrii Repeta lives and works in Kosiv, has a studio where he teaches children to paint, invites everyone who is interested, and people come from other cities to see the paintings in person and choose their own. This means that his art is alive and needed. It is a great joy for me to present his works. I would love to have some of them at home — to look at them every day and return to this state of mind. I am truly happy that these paintings have appeared in my life.
