Postal set «Weapons of Victory. The world with Ukraine»
On April 26, 2022, at the US Air Force Base "Ramstein" in Germany, representatives of the defense departments of more than 40 countries of the EU, NATO, Africa, the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, and the Asia-Pacific region created an international coalition in support of Ukraine and the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine . Later, the heads of defense departments of many other countries joined the coalition. Postal block "Weapons of Victory. The World with Ukraine" continues the issue of "Weapons of Victory" in 2022 and this time presents the best samples of foreign weapons provided to Ukraine by members of the international coalition. The postage stamps of the block depict: main battle tanks Challenger 2 (Great Britain) and Leopard 2 (Germany); anti-aircraft missile complex Patriot® (USA); CAESAR self-propelled artillery installation (France); infantry fighting vehicle M2 Bradley (USA). The publication was created with the assistance of the Office of Strategic Communications of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the embassies of the United States, Great Britain, Germany, and France in Ukraine.
