Photos of our defenders in the company of fluffy animals spread across the Internet, demonstrating the best human qualities of Ukrainian Heroes to the world. Tired and exhausted soldiers, returning from combat missions, are warmed by the love given to them by rescued and sheltered animals. Defenseless furry creatures who lost their owners and homes because of the war, thank their saviors with warmth and loyalty. Rescued dogs and cats often become true battle buddies and effective "antidepressants" for our fighters. Four-legged friends help the defenders, even for a moment, to distract themselves from the harsh reality of war, to remember their loved ones and the comfort of their home.
