The main element of the sketch is a slice of watermelon, which depicts the scenes that accompanied the temporary occupation of the city: peaceful rallies, buildings on fire, torture. The seeds look like rockets that the Russian invaders are ruthlessly firing at Kherson. The stamp sheet shows a map of Kherson, a hero city liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The artistic envelope and postcard illustrate the protests of the residents.

The stamp "Kherson is Ukraine" dedicated to the liberation of the city from the Russian occupation, which lasted more than eight months, was issued by Ukrposhta on December 9. It depicts the symbol of Kherson - a watermelon. The author is artist Andrii Sagach from Zaporizhzhia.
