Postal Block 100 years old. Odesa Film Studio

In 2019, the Odesa Film Studio celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Since its founding, more than four hundred films have been shot there, including works by prominent Ukrainian masters: Les Kurbas, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, Ivan Kavaleridze, Mykhailo Illenko, Yaroslav Lupii and others.

The postage stamps of the block depict the “Entrance Gate” and “First Pavilion” of the film studio, which has been presenting great films to viewers for several generations.
