Postal Set: “In Honor of Marine Corps Day: Warriors of the Three Elements”

“Marines—always loyal!”—this is a principle that marines prove every day in battle.

They are called warriors of the three elements for their ability to operate with confidence on land, in water, and in the air. From the very first days of Russian aggression, the Ukrainian Marine Corps has become a symbol of resilience, endurance, and combat brotherhood, and today marines are where the fighting is fiercest. They hold the line, lead assaults, evacuate their comrades under fire, and are the first to arrive where strength, determination, and results are needed. Their strength lies in their training and experience, as well as in their trust in one another and their readiness to stand shoulder to shoulder until the end.

On May 21, 2026, Ukrposhta will issue the national postage stamp “In Honor of Marine Corps Day. Warriors of the Three Elements,” dedicated to the courage, strength, and resilience of Ukrainian marines. The stamp will be canceled with a special “First Day” postmark in Kyiv (01001).

The designer of the stamp, “First Day” envelope, card, and presentation folder is Oleksandr Kalmykov.

The issue was created with the assistance of the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
