Postal sheet "Russian Navy - to the bottom!" 2024
Postal issue "Russian Navy - to the bottom!" continues the legendary series of postage stamps of the wartime "Russian Warship ...".
In April 2022, the first postage stamp of the series - "Russian warship, go ...!" became a harbinger of the destruction by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the enemy cruiser "Moskva", which went to the bottom immediately after the stamp was put into circulation.
During the two years of the large-scale war, the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine sunk, damaged and disabled a third of Russia's warships. Among the biggest losses of the enemy: large landing ships "Saratov" (24.03.2022), "Minsk" (13.09.2023), "Novocherkask" (26.12.2023), "Cesar Kunikov" (14.02.2024); missile cruiser "Moscow" (April 13, 2022); rescue and towing vessel "Rescuer Vasyl Beh" (June 17, 2022); submarine "Rostov-on-Don" (September 13, 2023); patrol corvette "Serhiy Kotov" (March 5, 2024).
The battle at sea continues. And the next one who can go "to the bottom" is the patrol frigate "Admiral Makarov", because the ultimate goal of the Ukrainian defenders is the complete absence of warships of the Russian Federation in the Azov-Black Sea region.
