Postal set “By sword and will” (block, envelope)

In February 2014, Russia once again disrupted the peaceful life of Europe. This time, a destructive wave of war covered the Ukrainian Crimea, Sevastopol, and parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Eight years later, at dawn on February 24, 2022, this wave turned into a tsunami. The Kremlin threw all its forces, seeking to erase the free Ukrainian state and its national identity from the map.

But Ukrainians have endured and continue to resist the evil and death brought by the invasion that seemed endless. The people who rose in the name of freedom have proven their invincibility and ability to win.

Our resistance is not only a fight for the life and freedom of the country. It is a fight for our own voice in the world, for European values, for the return of every piece of our native land, sprinkled with the blood of Ukrainian Heroes. And we believe that this day will certainly come.

The postal issue is represented by works by Oleg Shupliak “The Great Battle of Ukraine with Mordor. 2022” (on the postal block) and “Ukraine at War. 2016” (on the envelope).
