Series "Ukrainian embroidery - the code of the nation"

The series of postage stamps “Ukrainian Embroidery – Code of the Nation,” launched in 2018, continues with the release of postage stamps depicting embroidery from the Odesa and Sumy regions.
Odessa region is represented by a men's shirt made of coarse cotton fabric (mid-20th century, village of Shershenci, Kodymsky district (now Podilsky district) with a floral “Brokar” ornament (cross, teeth, overlock stitch). Exhibit of the Ivan Honchar Museum National Center for Folk Culture (the shirt was donated to the museum by collector Dmytro Skoryk).
