The water tower is a historic engineering structure on European Square in Vinnytsia, built in 1911 and commissioned in 1912 according to the design of architect Hryhorii Artynov. Initially, it was used as a water tower, a bell tower, and the main city clock. After the Second World War, the tower was converted into communal apartments for employees of the city's water utility, and the building was used as their home until 1977. From 1978 to 1985, the tower was reconstructed and converted into a museum.
