Oleksandr Usyk is an undefeated Ukrainian professional boxer, absolute world champion in the heavyweight (2018) and super heavyweight (2024) weight categories, the best boxer regardless of weight category according to The Ring magazine. Oleksandr is one of the most titled Ukrainian amateur boxers - multiple champion of Ukraine, European champion (2008), world champion (2011), Olympic champion (2012) and Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine. He has received state awards: Full Cavalier of the Order of Merit; National Legend of Ukraine, Order of Freedom. At the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the athlete created a charitable foundation that helps the Ukrainian army and people affected by Russian aggression and supports educational projects.  The postal issue “USYK. The World Loves the Strong” is a charity issue: the funds raised will be sent by Ukrposhta to Oleksandr Usyk's charity foundation.
